Ultraviolet Photometers

IME SA provides a wide range of on-line multi-wave photometers for the measurement of gas or liquid components in simple or complex streams for process control, product quality assurance, safety, catalyst protection and area monitoring.

The Ultraviolet Photometer uses up to eight wavelengths making it possible to cover a great variety of measuring solutions. As it is a multi-wave photometer it is possible to obtain a compensation for the various types of interferences as well as proceeding of Multicomponent applications.

This photometer is usually provided in an integrated solution for applications in the chemical, petrochemical industries and refineries.

MEASURING PRINCIPLE:

  • Using photometry from UV (ultraviolet) rays in a range from 200 to 400nm;
  • Photometry in the Visible Spectral Region (VIS) in a range from 400 to 800nm.

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Gylcol Processing;
  • Phosgene Chlorine.

MEASURING PERFORMANCE:

  • Precision: ±1% of full scale;
  • Noise: ±0,5% to 1% of full scale;
  • Linearity: ±1% of full scale;
  • Zero Drift: ±0,5% of full scale per day.

OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Ambient temperature range: 0 to 45ºC;
  • Sample Pressure: 0 to 34 bar;
  • Other: Instrument Protection from exposition to direct sunlight and rain.
