IME SA provides a wide range of level meters using different measuring principles according to the characteristics of the sample measured as well as the applications for which they were designed.

 

The magnetically controlled liquid level indicator allows continuous monitoring of fluid levels and can be applied in open and closed tanks/reservoirs.

 

From a simple and robust solution the level of the fluid is directly indicated requiring little or no maintenance, allowing great freedom in the application.

 

It is specially applied with corrosive, toxic and flammable fluids operating in the -50ºC to 400ºC temperature range and a pressure of up to 320bar.

 

The switches are resistant to vibrations, requiring no power supply and can be equipped with alarm modules.

 

There are explosive atmosphere zones (ATEX) versions available.

 

 

MEASURING PRINCIPLE

 

• The float chamber follows the fluid level and transmits its movement to the indication rail following the law of the communicating tubes. The level of the float chamber inside is equal to the level of the tank.
